I’ve always really enjoyed Psalms but Ecclesiates comes in a very close second.
Swing Down Chariot SSQ + Gaither Vocal Band
SSQ & Gaither Vocal Band singing Swing Down Chariot
So I know most of you guys don’t like ‘southern gospel’ but I really like this song and thought I would share it. Singing is Gaither Vocal Band and Signature Sound along with Gordon Mote on the piano. I hope you all enjoy this song and video – can’t beat some of these older songs.
Casting Crowns – East to West [Live]
Casting Crowns Sining “East to West”
Hello guys – hope all is well with everyone today! Hated that I had to miss church last night but I happy report that my meeting I had in Texas went very well and my clients were VERY impressed with what our team presented.
Enough of that…I just ran across this video on Tangle and although I’ve heard this song time and time again on the radio it really rang with me today. I really love how this song is titled “East to West” because it describes what Jesus said he would do with our sins. He DID NOT say that he would throw them in the sea of forgetfulness but he did say puts them as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).
One great song from Casting Crowns and I hope you all enjoy this live video of them singing East to West. Love you guys, Bro. David Strader
The Old Gospel Ship by Gordon Mote
Gordon Mote Singing The Old Gospel Ship
Man, Gordon Mote is just good! Love how he can take some of these really old songs and make them sounds so awesome – I love old songs. My favioriate part, in this song The Old Gospel Ship, is when Gordon Mote does his piano solo and just really rocks it out. Hope all you enjoy!
Wonderful God | Hillsong
Hillsong singing Wonderful God
Man, I love this song. I really dig most of the songs Hillsong puts out but this one is just really hit me today. I came home wanting to hear it and found it on Youtube, thought I’d share it with you guys. Wonderful God by Hillsong, enjoy everyone one and happy Sunday!
Mercy Walked In by Gordon Mote
Gordon Mote Singing “Mercy Walked In”
You all know me, I really enjoy southern gospel music and recently I’ve been on an extra southern gospel posting kick but you really can’t beat it.
This song in particular, Mercy Walked In, Gordon Mote does a wonderful job presenting the true power and truth this song has. We were all in sin and His mercy did walk in and pleaded our case and set us free – Thank You Jesus!
I Know Who Holds Tomorrow by George Younce & Larry Ford
I Know Who Holds Tomorrow
I just love it when Sis. Teresa Payzant gets up and sings this sound – it has so much truth and power! We honestly don’t know what tomorrow holds and what it will bring but we must know who the one is that holds that tomorrow – Jesus Christ.
I Cant Even Walk By Gordon Mote
I Can’t Even Walk
I find myself saying this a lot but this is probably one of my favoriate songs, ever! The longer you walk with the Lord the more you relize that you truly can’t even walk without Jesus holding your hand and you know what, that’s the way God wants us to be – 100% leaning on him. God is always faithful to supply, answer and renew when no one else can and he’ll never leave you or forsake you, so hold to his unchanging hand and walk with him and give him everything. Give him all your troubles, heartache, short-comings, thoughts and needs and know that he’s still the Alfa & Omega, Beginning & Ending, First & last and that’ he’ll NEVER leave or forsake you.
I really hope you all enjoy this video, I can’t even walk – without you holding my hand.
Shake the Foundation | POA
Shake the Foundation (lyrics)
Glory Hallelu
This is what we’ve come to do
Tear down strongholds, break the chains
Bind the devil in Jesus’s name
Tonight (it’s alright), we got a right
To shake the foundation with praise
(REPEAT)
Praise Him
Praise Him
The Lord is worthy, the Lord is worthy
The Lord is worthy, the Lord is worthy
Tonight (it’s alright), we got a right
To shake the foundation with praise
End:
Tonight (it’s alright), we got a right
Tonight (it’s alright), we got a right
Tonight, we got a right
To shake the foundation with praise
Marvin Sapp | Never Would Have Made It
Never Would Have Made It by Marvin Sapp
Bro. Jayson Akers shared this video with me the other night and it honestly had a special touch on me – I had never seen this version of the song before. The part that hit me was when the tired pastor is coming up to preach and looks at the congregation with only a handful of people to preach to but then the song says… “Never would have made it!!”, it just hit me in a special way and thought I would share with you guys.
I’ve had a huge burdon on my heart the past few days and to be honest with you God has really been speaking to me in the spirt during this 40 days of prayer and fasting we are doing at The Lighthouse Church, a Mesa, Arizona church. I know each of you have situations in your life that you are all batteling and each has ‘their own battle’ that each much fight what seems alone but I’m telling you that God is saying He’s right there beside you even when you feel alone, tired, and weary! Let me be honest, without Jesus you will not make it but if you’ll put your trust in Him, he’ll walk you, guide you or even carry you when you need and take care of that storm of your life.
Just want you guys to know, I never would have made it without Jesus!
